Headaches
These pains include a wide spectrum from a very serious pathology in the brain to simple pathologies called tension headaches due to overstretching of the neck muscles.
Symptoms such as vision, balance disorders, dizziness, vomiting, aggravation of pain at night or sudden onset of pain should be an alarm sign for the physician.
Tension Headache
In tension headaches, patients talk about the stiffness of the neck muscles, the pain increases with staying in the same position for a long time, and the stress develops the pain.
Neck Pains
Findings such as range of motion in the neck, pain spreading to the arm with movement, decreased sensation and reflexes in the arms in neck pain should suggest neck disc diseases. Simple neck pain may be due to muscle pain associated with trigger points in the neck muscles and defined as (Myofascial Pain Syndrome).
Low Back Pain
While local low back pain and limitation of low back movements suggest degenerative disc disease, increase in pain with movement, spread to the leg and scoliosis developing during movement mostly indicate disc disorders and hernias.
In the interrogation of the patients, reporting that the severity of the pain gradually increases and that it gets worse at night and wakes the patient from sleep should be considered as a danger sign and serious causes such as inflammatory disease or tumor should be sought under the pain.
Leg Pains
Leg pains can be caused by diseases of the discs and joints, especially in the waist, as well as cartilage deterioration called calcification in the knee and hip joints, nerve damage or compression of the nerve tissue due to narrowing in the lumbar canal.
Our hospital, especially with its advanced physical therapy and rehabilitation facilities on the "locomotor system", serves an important patient group in our region as a result of the Kollabore study of the Departments of Physical Therapy, Brain and Nerve Surgery, Neuroanesthesia, Neurology and Orthopedics. It aims to open up to the world with its developing infrastructure, knowledge and experience. .
Spinal Neurosurgery: Surgical intervention is performed in appropriate indications in traumatic, congenital and degenerative diseases of the spine. As a result of surgical interventions with minimally effective microsurgery techniques, awareness and rehabilitation practices are performed together with the physical therapy department. surgical treatments are performed. Spinal tumors and hemorrhages are intervened.
Pediatric Neurosurgery: Surgical intervention with microsurgical technique is applied to chronal and spinal pathologies of congenital and acquired origin.
Peripheral Nerve Surgery: Brachial plexus surgery, nerve entrapment neuropathies (such as carpal tunnel syndrome, ulner olac syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome), Marton's nonoma, nerve sheath tumors, nerve cuts, traumatic nerve injuries are the main ones.
Trauma: Emergency interventions are applied to our patients who have head trauma together with general body traumas or only head trauma.
