General Surgery
Being one of the oldest disciplines in medicine history , general surgery deals with a portion of patients who can not be healed by conventional methods using drugs, physiotherapy etc performing operations to heal body parts or extraxting the relevant site of the body.
The Department of General Surgery works in cooperation and coordination with many medical departments due to its wide field of interest. The Department of General Surgery also organizes the coordination of the treatment of the patients related to trauma in the ED with multi-organ injuries. Screening and detailed follow-up programs are carried out in general surgery for the early diagnosis of some cancer types such as breast cancer.
