Responsibilities of Patients and Their Relatives
In order for healthcare services to be provided at the highest quality, safely and uninterruptedly, our patients and their relatives also have certain responsibilities. Mutual cooperation is the most important factor that increases the success of the treatment process.

1. Responsibility to Provide Information

  • It is the patient's responsibility to report your current complaints, previous illnesses, whether you have received inpatient treatment, any medications you are using, and all details regarding your health completely and accurately.
  • You are expected to immediately report any unexpected changes in your condition to the healthcare personnel while the treatment process continues.

2. Responsibility to Follow Recommendations

  • You are obliged to comply with the treatment plan approved by the responsible physician and to assist the relevant healthcare personnel (nurse, technician, etc.) in carrying out the care plan in accordance with the physician's instructions.

3. Responsibility to Refuse Planned Treatment

  • If you refuse the treatment planned by your physician or do not comply with the physician's instructions, you will be personally responsible for any medical consequences that may arise.

4. Responsibility to Comply with Hospital Rules

  • It is the duty of all patients and their relatives to comply with the visiting hours, companion rules and hygiene standards set by our hospital.
  • Care must be taken not to damage the hospital's physical areas, medical devices and furniture. The persons concerned are responsible for any damages.

5. Respect for Other Patients and Staff Rights

  • Respect must be shown for the privacy, peace and right to rest of other patients. Making noise or taking unauthorized images/audio recordings is prohibited.
  • Verbal or physical violence against healthcare workers is a legal crime, and in such cases, the "White Code" procedure is activated and legal action is taken.

6. Hygiene and Infection Control

  • It is the responsibility of both the patient and their relatives to comply with hand hygiene rules, use masks when necessary, and take into account the warnings of the staff regarding this issue in order to prevent the spread of infection in the hospital.

7. Responsibility for Payment

  • You are obliged to pay the examination and treatment expenses corresponding to the services provided within the period and methods determined by the hospital. Responsibility for any deficiencies arising from the follow-up of insurance processes and obtaining necessary approvals belongs to the patient.

8. Inappropriate Requests and Behaviors

  • It is necessary not to request the prescription or administration of medications that are not deemed appropriate by the physician or not included in the treatment plan, and not to make requests that are contrary to medical ethics.
